Recent Investigations #4
Casey Moore's Oyster House
PS ran an investigation live Monday 3-23-09 to help promote the movie "The Haunting In Connecticut".
To our surprise even with the investigation being conducted during normal business hours we captured two evps upstairs and interviewed 3 witnesses to poltergeist activity in the bar area.
Our recorders were turned on at about 5:45 pm. Exactly 2 minutes and 59 seconds in the white room we picked up an evp that sounds like an elderly women telling us to "Get Out!".
Approximately 6:30 pm we are told by several customers that 3 of our photos turned over by themselves. The photos were in frames and sitting on a solid bar table when they turned over. This was validated by one of our own interviewers that were sitting close to them.
During the rest of the night it was fairly quiet until 3 female customers offered to try and communicate with spirits in the blue room. We came to understand that a young lady by the name of Sarah was strangled in this room in the early 50's. At 9:35 pm one of the 3 female customers asks Sarah if she is happy. We get this response that sounds like an answer "I am happy". At the same time we see her jump on video and all 3 of them heard the answer "Happy". This is the evp that was recorded.
Update Investigation #2
We returned to Casey Moore's to try and pick up on what we found the first time. During our second visit two of the investigators noticed an occasional black figure cover light from windows and doorways. This shadow figure was caught on static camera facing towards the bar. If you watch the window in the left corner you will see it black out by what looks like a head and shoulders. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nykAMueZ3Ys We looked back on video and noticed that our blue motion sensor on the bar went off the same time as the customers sensor in the ceiling. We were told this is a reoccuring problem with an alarm in this zone going off around 4am. The evp's are so clear that we tried everything to try and debunk them. We had investigators in both rooms and on the stairs and no one heard these. Both seem to come from the blue room about 10 minutes apart. Here is the 1st evp:

Update Investigation #3
We returned for a 3rd visit in August of 2010 to see if the spirits are still active at Casey Moore's. Once again the activity we recorded and witnessed was simply incredible. While walking near the kitchen entrance I felt a pinch on my arm. After listening to our recordings we caught on tape a women stating "Don't touch me". Did I run into a spirit and upset her? Listen to the EVP for yourself. We have amplified the portion of the audio file where the whisper is so you can hear it.
Later in the evening one of our investigators heard the word "Alone" while sitting in the Blue Room upstairs. We were all standing around the area where she hear the voice questioning her exactly where she was sitting. While talking you will here this long moan over the top of our talking.

Brass Armadillo Antique Mall
During our client investigations we occasionally run into what seem to be haunted objects like stand-alone clocks, beds, mirrors, pianos, etc.. We decided to take our research further on "Haunted Objects" by requesting an investigation into the Brass Armadillo Antique Mall located in Phoenix Arizona. The manager was very helpful in setting up the time and had many of his own personal stories as well as others in the shop. It appears that over the 13 years of managing this locations he has seen, heard, and been told stories by other employees of what seem to be paranormal experiences. These experiences are said to be footsteps, shadow figures, breaking of glass, pictures falling off the walls, and the uneasy feeling of being watched.
We arrived at 9:00 pm and was followed by a film engineer associated with the corporate office. In one isle we came to a booth that was owned by a recent dealer who had passed away weeks prior. To our amazement we ran into what we feel is the spirit of (John) who was still hanging around his booth. The film engineer recorded the complete session at the booth but was forced to cut it to 10 minutes because of YouTube limitations. You can find the link at http://www.youtube.com/.
